WHAT IS THE ZO 3 STEP PEEL?
This peel packs a punch! If you're looking for improvement in your tone and texture look no further. It works by removing the outer layer of skin to reveal smoother brighter skin. This TCA peel is formulated with salicylic acid and lactic acid followed by retinol and soothing hydrating creme. We typically suggest a series of three treatments and pretreatment with medical grade products to prep the skin for remarkable results.

WHY IS IT CALLED THE ZO 3 STEP PEEL?
This peel was created by Dr. Obagi. Dr. Obagi's philosophy focuses on ongoing skin health and therefore providing benefits that continue after the treatment is completed.
The ZO 3 Step Peel is a three stop process for applying and benefiting the skin.
The first step involves the application of the peel solution to the skin. Formulated with 10% TCA, 17% Salicylic Acid, and 5% Lactic Acid.
The second step is applying the 6% Retinol Creme Complex. Thanks to the peel solution the retinol creme is able to penetrate deeper into the skin. Retinol helps with skin cell turnover and stimulates the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles while helping even out irregular pigmentation. This creme is packed with beta-glucan to ensure restoring hydration back into the skin.
The final step involves the application of the hydrating creme. This will help normalize the skin barrier resistance and integrity. While serving as a barrier against environmental elements.
WHAT IS THE RECOVERY TIME LIKE?
After the peel application process is complete, you will find that your skin will have a tight and rough texture that will last up to 48 hours. On days three and four your skin will start to shed the dead skin cells leaving your skin smooth and refreshed. Eveyone will have a different outcome to the healing process. Generally after days five through seven your skin will be back to normal.
