BEFORE YOUR MICRONEEDLING TREATMENT
Avoid Vitamin E, fish oils, and Ginkgo Biloba for one week prior to treatment.
Avoid anti-histamine and inflammatory drugs once one week prior to treatment. These negate the effects of the procedure. The body's histamine and inflammatory responses are needed post procedure.
Do not expose yourself to prolonged sun exposure prior to your treatment. Microneedling will not be administered in sunburned skin.
Stop laser hair removal, electrolysis, waxing, and depilatory reams one week prior to treatment.
Stop topical retinods one week prior to treatment.
If using Accutane, a 6-month (180 day) waiting period of discontinuation of medication is required.
If you have a history of cold sores, begin prophylactic treatment with Valtrex or similar no later than the day prior to treatment.
On the day of treatment, please keep treatment area clean.
